- Unusual behavior I noticed:
This happened several times. It happens when by some reason kontact is consuming 100% of CPU, so I close it normaly but after that when I want to start it again, It says that another instance of the application is runing on another desktop. If I click start anyway it segfaults.

I followed one of the workarounds suggested (remove ~/.kde/share/apps/kmail/search/Last\ Search and that solved the problem.

The crash can be reproduced some of the time.
