Description David REVOY 2011-06-16 17:50:04 UTC
Version: svn trunk
OS: Linux

Hi,
I started working on a large packaging painting, and I discovered this effect displayed by the brush outline when zoom out is less than 25% : http://david.revoy.free.fr/forums/krita/krita-bug-artefact.jpg

This little pixels disapears when you pan / zoom or fly over with the brush outline and doesn't print into the artwork , but they are really annoying.
They happen whithout OpenGL activated , with OpenGL there is no display problem, but my computer is slower with OpenGL than without.

Reproducible: Always
Comment 1 David REVOY 2011-06-16 17:59:26 UTC
I tryed to reproduce, but it's hard ... But opening this file http://david.revoy.free.fr/forums/krita/krita-bug-artefact_exemple.xcf with Krita does it everytime , I hope it will make easier the test for reproductibility of the bug.

Comment 5 David REVOY 2011-06-19 17:52:26 UTC
Many thanks Sven, I tested 10min on the files where I had the issues and it disapear. I can't reproduce it now the way I did before, so it looks really fixed... And that's really help my actual project where I have large image to paint on. Cool !
Comment 6 Halla Rempt 2011-07-01 07:40:30 UTC
Well, seems that David has found some more presets that give issues, so reopening this bug since https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=269456 is marked as a duplicate of this.
Comment 7 Halla Rempt 2011-07-07 09:35:00 UTC
I've also seen artefacts from the brush outline myself.
Comment 8 Dmitry Kazakov 2011-11-20 15:37:14 UTC
I cannot reproduce these artifacts with the David's preset, could you check this now?

When you paint with tablet and changes the pressure actively, the garbage still appears on the canvas.
