Version: 2.1.0 (using KDE 4.6.3) OS: Linux The height of the "Show message structure" pane in the message view is not remembered when switching messages. Worse, the default height is way too large. And as an added bonus, the message structure tree is not fully expanded by default. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Enable "Show Message Structure" from the View menu. 2. Message structure pane appears annoyingly large. 3. Resize message structure pane to more reasonable size. 4. Switch to another message. Actual Results: Message structure pane reverts to the default size, which is too large. Expected Results: Message structure pane should remain at the same size. This size should persist across restarts of the application, too. Also, the message structure tree should initially be fully expanded. Right now it is initially fully collapsed. This is a regression against KMail 1.
We don't save size. It's right. Will look at if possible to fix it

At a minimum, if remembering the size is difficult, the default should be set considerably smaller. As a start, the default size should never be larger than the amount of space needed to actually display the message structure (sometimes by default it can be 10X this limit)
"Also, the message structure tree should initially be fully expanded. Right now it is initially fully collapsed. This is a regression against KMail 1." Fixed in 4.7.2/master. Will look at for others bugs
Fixed in 4.9
