When using the add widget dialog one would expect, due to the blinking cursor in the editbox, to be able to search for plasmoids. But actually you need to click it to get it activated.

this is a focus issue in Qt which remains unresolved.

Isn't this a duplicate of Bug 270252?
(Also see Bug 281617 & Bug 216789)

If it is, then Bug 270252 doesn't have any information on this being a Qt bug. 

I guess it'd be a good idea to have only one bug report active and mark others as duplicates.

Any chance of this being reported in Qt's bug tracker?
