Description christian.mahr.ulm 2011-05-29 15:14:27 UTC
Version: 2.4.1 (using KDE 4.6.0)
OS: Linux

when moving forward or go backward in the tune just played, one normally graps the slider and moves t to left or rigt to play the tune from another time position. This is still possible when having "big toolbar". when switching to small toolbar the slider stills shows the position of the tune, but it is not grappable any more.
This worked before, f.e. in 2.3

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
switch to small toolbar and try to play the tune from another time position

Actual Results:
slider is not "grapable"

Expected Results:
same behaviour in small toolbar as in big toolbar

OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.37.6-0.5-pae
Compiler: gcc

Sorry,
its seems not to be depndent on small or big tool bar, it seems to be dependent on the mp3 to be player.
On some MP3s I can move the slider, on some others not.
No Idea, why.

dupe of #273159 resp. #237298 ie. phonon/gstreamers fault?!
Comment 3 christian.mahr.ulm 2011-05-29 18:59:42 UTC
Yes, I seems very similar. so lets close mine and track the other one.
Thanks for the hint.

more observations:
- it seems reproducible on specific mp3 files and reproducible not on others.
those might be encoded sligtly different.
- the problem seems to vanish when switching to xine back end.
Br Christian
