Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.0) OS: Linux When I try to get new themes for splash screens and wallpapers, I get the following message: "loading of providers from file http://download.kde.org/ocs/providers.html failed" Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Go to "Desktop settings", press "get new wallpapers" and you get the error message. Ditto for choosing a splash screen (you click on "get new themes" there) Actual Results: I get the "loading of providers from file http://download.kde.org/ocs/providers.html failed" error message. Expected Results: I expected to be presented with a list of themes to choose from.
Did this start to happen only today? Is it a new installation? Can you access http://download.kde.org/ in your KDE browser? It works here, I cannot reproduce.

http://download.kde.org/ocs/providers.html there's the problem! it's providers.html, not providers.xml. in our upstream sources it is providers.xml (which is why it works for Ann-Marie, as well as myself). looks like an installation / packaging issue
