Version: 0.9.6 (using KDE 4.6.2) OS: Linux There's no configurable keyboard shortcut for Klipper. I found default Ctrl+Alt+V. One can even change it in "System settings > Shortcuts and gestures > Global keyboard shortcuts > Plasma desktop shell > Systemtray-Klipper-N". But everytime klipper is closed and opened again configured shortcut gets reset. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1) Open "System settings > Shortcuts and gestures > Global keyboard shortcuts > Plasma desktop shell". 2) Set klipper shortcut to Ctrl+Alt+C 3) Quit klipper 4) Start klipper Actual Results: Klipper shortcut in "System settings > Shortcuts and gestures > Global keyboard shortcuts > Plasma desktop shell" is Ctrl+Alt+V Expected Results: Klipper shortcut in "System settings > Shortcuts and gestures > Global keyboard shortcuts > Plasma desktop shell" is Ctrl+Alt+C
Klipper version is actually 0.9.7. This version isn't in report bug form version combo so I mention it here.
How the obvious bug like can still be unconfirmed? It is 100% reproducible with klipper 0.9.6 on KDE 4.7.2. I had to change the way I handle shortcuts in my IDE in order to workaround it.
I think the right place is "System settings > Shortcuts and gestures > Global keyboard shortcuts > Klipper". I'm using KDE 4.7.3 See also bug 244620
@Jekyll: not quite, in "System settings > Shortcuts and gestures > Global keyboard shortcuts > Klipper" there are inner shortcuts for Klipper, the problem in with global shortcut under "System settings > Shortcuts and gestures > Global keyboard shortcuts > Plasma desktop shell", which launches Klipper. That is getting reset after restart.
(In reply to comment #4) You are right. And I find changing the shortcut through "Systray settings -> Entries" does not have this resetting problem.
That worked! I haven't ever noticed that there is a config menu in system tray widget. Thanks a lot!
