Version: 2.4.0.90 (using KDE 4.6.2) OS: Linux After I renamed an .ogg file to "p%.ogg" (P-percent-dot-ogg without the quotes) and did "amarok -a p%.ogg", then Amarok displayed the file in the playlist, but it was unable to play it upon doubleclick. It plays files with no "%" signs properly, including .ogg/.mp3/.mp4/.flv/.mod/.s3m/.it/.xm. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Copy an ogg file to a file called "p%.ogg" (without the quotes). 2. Do "amarok -a p%.ogg" while Amarok is running. 3. Try to double click to play it. Actual Results: Amarok won't play the file. Expected Results: Amarok should play the file. I'm on Mandriva Linux Cooker on x86-32.
Which Phonon backend do you use? This could be a duplicate of bug 198008 or bug 266719.
(In reply to comment #1) > Which Phonon backend do you use? This could be a duplicate of bug 198008 or bug > 266719. I'm using the gstreamer Phonon backend.
I should note that Amarok is also unable to play other files with percent signs in their filenames ("%"): I tried with .mp3, .flv and .xm, containing a percent sign and they all didn't play properly.
