Description Vladimir Lagunov 2011-04-05 15:21:13 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.1)
OS: Linux

Every time after disconnecting from my OpenVPN server occurs these things:
* "kdeinit4: kded4 [init]" (taken from htop) uses 100% of CPU.
* Plasma freezes until i kill kdeinit4. It doesn't restart automatically.
* WiFi in networkmanager applet doesn't work until i restart kdeinit4 manually (it looks like there is no access point near me).
* Global hotkeys doesn't work until i open keyboard preferences in SystemSettings (probably some daemons restarts when i'm doing it).

These bugs occurs even if i connect to VPN through networkmanager plasmoid or through starting openvpn with specified config file in konsole (i use almost unaltered default config).

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create VPN connection in SystemSettings->Network Settings.
2. Activate this connection in network management plasmoid.
3. Disconnect from VPN through plasmoid.

At first i set "Reproducibility = every time", but i've noticed that after some manual restarts of kdeinit4 this bug doesn't occurs. However, this bug occures with first VPN connection in current session.

Some additional info:
When i forget to change default gateway after connecting to openvpn manually (in terminal), these bugs doesn't occurs. Probably something wrong with routing tables.
I forgot to say that freezed kdeinit4 can be killed only with SIGKILL.
No messages in ~/.xsession-errors appears when i break VPN-connection.

Same problem here, when i connect to a VPN everuthing is ok, but when i try to disconnect kded4 uses 100% of CPU and even if I try to reboot or shutdown the PC jus hangs
