Description Christian Herzberg 2011-03-22 14:47:20 UTC
Application: akonadi_contacts_resource (0.1)
KDE Platform Version: 4.4.5 (KDE 4.4.5)
Qt Version: 4.7.2
Operating System: Linux 2.6.38-0.slh.5-aptosid-686 i686
Distribution: Debian GNU/Linux unstable (sid)

-- Information about the crash:
I started kmail under fluxbox. Normaly kwallet asked me about the password for opening the digital wallet. This time the windows only shows the background. No text and no field to enter the password.

Besides this drkonqi popped up that "Akonadi Resource (akonadi_contacts_resource)" crashes with segmentation fault. Because the backtrace lacks some information I only choose "Close", but after a few seconds the crash message came up again (and again and again).

I blindly fill in the password in the grey window and hit enter. And kmail came up with no problems (i.e. everything visible).
Only "Akonadi Resource (akonadi_contacts_resource)" crashes again and again in the background, drkonqi tells me about.

The grey windows for kwallet could be related to some intel graphic driver issues in debian sid. Maybe the last xserver updates changes something and with the next intel driver update everything could be fine.
However, the crash of "Akonadi Resource (akonadi_contacts_resource)" is completely new.

Hope you can get the clue from the backtrace
Thanks for all efforts
Chrisch

The crash can be reproduced every time.

qt seems to have some update an debian sid, too. From 4.6 to 4.7
Maybe this is related.
Comment 2 Christoph Feck 2011-03-22 15:10:35 UTC
