- What I was doing when the application crashed:

I happened to be running the system monitor while playing with this app.

I was scrolling down very quickly through the wallpapers. I could see the CPU load going rather high in the system monitor. 
It was also using a lot of ethernet bandwidth to download the wallpapers as I went.
A few seconds before the crash, I noticed a slowdown in the UI. But it  recovered after about 5s. I then went on scrolling down at the same pace, and got this crash.
