Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.0) OS: Linux Hi, After upgrading to 4.4.6, I can't see most of the contacts in Kopete. When launching it in console, I can see the following errors: kopete(8019)/kio (KDirWatch) KDirWatchPrivate::removeEntry: doesn't know "~/.kde4/share/apps/kabc" kopete(8019)/libkdepim Akonadi::PluginLoader::scan: missing or empty X-KDE-ClassName value in " "/usr/share/apps/akonadi/plugins/serializer/akonadi_serializer_addressee.desktop" " kopete(8019)/libkdepim Akonadi::PluginLoader::scan: missing or empty X-KDE-ClassName value in " "/usr/share/apps/akonadi/plugins/serializer/akonadi_serializer_contactgroup.desktop" " kopete(8019)/libkdepim Akonadi::PluginLoader::scan: missing or empty X-KDE-ClassName value in " "/usr/share/apps/akonadi/plugins/serializer/akonadi_serializer_microblog.desktop" " kopete(8019)/libkdepim Akonadi::PluginLoader::scan: missing or empty X-KDE-ClassName value in " "/usr/share/apps/akonadi/plugins/serializer/akonadi_serializer_bookmark.desktop" " kopete(8019)/libkdepim Akonadi::PluginLoader::scan: missing or empty X-KDE-ClassName value in " "/usr/share/apps/akonadi/plugins/serializer/akonadi_serializer_mail.desktop" " kopete(8019)/libkdepim Akonadi::PluginLoader::scan: missing or empty X-KDE-ClassName value in " "/usr/share/apps/akonadi/plugins/serializer/akonadi_serializer_kcal.desktop" " kopete(8019)/kdepimlibs (kabc): Neither Addressee nor ContactGroup payload [ The above lines is displayed a few times more... ] Object::connect: No such slot GaduAccount::search() kopete(8019)/libkopete Kopete::PluginManager::loadPluginInternal: Unable to find a plugin named ' "" '! Actually it's not only kopete that I can't access/see the contacts. It's also kMail. And - perhaps most importantly - the address/contact book itself - it only show the address books but not the actual contacts contained in each book. Reproducible: Always
Sorry, I meant -- after upgrading to 4.6.0.
same here : bug #267969
I have had the contact in a customized path, so to say, ~/.address_books/ - no idea if it might affect anything. Please let me know if I could provide some more information. PS Anyway, I'm sort of glad sb else have the same problem, cause I've started feeling kind of lonely with it ;)
