Version: 1.0.0 (using KDE 4.6.1) OS: Linux I have about 67 addresses within ~/.kde4/share/apps/kabc/std.vcf which can be used with KMail 4.4.10 under KDE 4.6.1 (upgraded from 4.4.5 a day ago). However If I start the address book I cannot see the addresses ?!? At the command line I get : tfoerste@n22 ~/.local/share $ kaddressbook(9097)/libkdepim Akonadi::PluginLoader::scan: missing or empty X-KDE-ClassName value in " "/usr/share/apps/akonadi/plugins/serializer/akonadi_serializer_contactgroup.desktop" " kaddressbook(9097)/libkdepim Akonadi::PluginLoader::scan: missing or empty X-KDE-ClassName value in " "/usr/share/apps/akonadi/plugins/serializer/akonadi_serializer_kcal.desktop" " kaddressbook(9097)/libkdepim Akonadi::PluginLoader::scan: missing or empty X-KDE-ClassName value in " "/usr/share/apps/akonadi/plugins/serializer/akonadi_serializer_mail.desktop" " kaddressbook(9097)/libkdepim Akonadi::PluginLoader::scan: missing or empty X-KDE-ClassName value in " "/usr/share/apps/akonadi/plugins/serializer/akonadi_serializer_microblog.desktop" " kaddressbook(9097)/libkdepim Akonadi::PluginLoader::scan: missing or empty X-KDE-ClassName value in " "/usr/share/apps/akonadi/plugins/serializer/akonadi_serializer_bookmark.desktop" " kaddressbook(9097)/libkdepim Akonadi::PluginLoader::scan: missing or empty X-KDE-ClassName value in " "/usr/share/apps/akonadi/plugins/serializer/akonadi_serializer_addressee.desktop" " kaddressbook(9097)/akonadiserializer (addressee) AkonadiFuture::SerializerPluginAddressee::deserialize: Empty addressee object! kaddressbook(9097)/akonadiserializer (addressee) AkonadiFuture::SerializerPluginAddressee::deserialize: Empty addressee object! Reproducible: Didn't try OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.37.3-rc1 Compiler: i686-pc-linux-gnu-gcc
FWIW: I removed .local/share/akonadi and .config/apps/akonadi, and the rc files under .kde4, and restartet KDE. Now akonadi uses 1 MB database file (instead 127 MB with the mysql driver) and doesn't prevent KMail from being started during login any more -that's good. However the KAddressbook doesn't show any content, neither from that std.vcf file nor from the directory .local/share/contacts/ where a lot of *.vcf files are lcoated. KMail itself at least uses the content of ~/.kde4/share/apps/kabc/std.vcf.
seems to tbe solved with 4.4.11.0
