Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.0) OS: Linux Hello, When I decrease the brightness by using hotkeys from my laptop, the minimal brightness that OSD shows is not the minimum possible. This command will help you to know what I mean : cat /proc/acpi/video/VGA/LCD/brightness levels: 70 50 20 30 40 60 80 90 100 When the OSD shows the minimum brightness, the brightness is at ... 70 ! instead of 20. I need to play with the OSD to find the minimal brightness. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Decrease the brightness using hotkeys, and see the OSD.

Git commit 63d38bdb6a98e3e74b24c2cd88233b7d24a2900f by Alex Fiestas. Committed on 30/09/2011 at 23:32. Pushed by afiestas into branch 'master'. Added intel_backlight and radeon_bl, and priority changed Apart from adding two new needed modules, I have modified the priority of the modules prioritizing the GPU drivers, that's because they usually know better the steps than the "laptop model" one.
