Description Parameshwara Bhat 2011-02-03 14:37:35 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.4.4)
OS: Linux

When a removable device is mounted from dolphin and later used in other applications ( notably Openoffice which seems to not let go handle even after file is closed; Openoffice needs quitting completely), when tried to 'safely remove', dolphin produces error saying 'some file in the device is open in other applications'. It stops at that.

It will be nicer if Dolphin can list the other application(s) and provides a way to close them. It will be very helpful if dolphin at least lists them.

Reproducible: Always

OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.34.7-0.7-default
Compiler: gcc
