Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.0)
OS: Linux

Some sort of action should be taken if the current system font size will cause clipping in smaller calendar widgets. For example using shorter day abbreviations (2 or 1 character) or decreasing the font size to the largest able to fit. This is an issue for both day labels, week numbers, and day numbers

I'm attaching a snapshot of how it looks on my system.

Reproducible: Always

In kdelibs 4.7 narrow day names are now available, e.g. M for Monday, which could be used, but in general this is a case where the code should shrink the font size.

This bug report seems like a duplicate of bug 264783. Every aspects of it meet this bug here. Maybe the 2 bugs should be merged into 1.
