Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.0) OS: Linux Having changed the fonts of KDE to be 1 or 2 sizes larger than default, I found the widgets would extend beyond their border (usually overlapping the right side). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Set font size to be 10 under Font Settings. Widgets will now increase font size (as wanted), however widget size does not take this into account, and makes the overlap harder to read and unwanted for aesthetiques. Actual Results: widget size stays the same, and font overlaps border. This sometimes also happens with fonts and highlighting (bottom of g/j, etc. will be cut off by highlight color). Expected Results: widget will resize in order to take into account new font size (or find a more pleasing way of displaying without overlap).

Osaka, I can confirm your findings with KDE 4.7.0. Your Steps to Reproduce should identify the widget itself (seem like a calendar but it could be numerical clock widget). Your Steps to Reproduce should also identify which category is affected by font size increase: Is it General? Is it Fixed Width? Is it Small? regards, Gérard
This bug report seems like a duplicate of bug 264824. Every aspects of it meet this bug here. Maybe the 2 bugs should be merged into 1. Gérard

Hello! This bug report was filed for KDE Plasma 4, which reached end-of-support status in August 2015. KDE Plasma 5's desktop shell has been almost completely rewritten for better performance and usability, so it is likely that this bug is already resolved in Plasma 5. Accordingly, we hope you understand why we must close this bug report. If the issue described here is still present in KDE Plasma 5.12 or later, please feel free to open a new ticket in the "plasmashell" product after reading https://community.kde.org/Get_Involved/Bug_Reporting If you would like to get involved in KDE's bug triaging effort so that future mass bug closes like this are less likely, please read https://community.kde.org/Get_Involved#Bug_Triaging Thanks for your understanding!
