Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.0) OS: Linux In kde 4.5, the plasma clocks would provide a tooltip showing events from my korganizer calendars. When displaying the calenderwidget by clicking the clock, dates with events would stand out with bold type, and hovering them would show a tooltip with events. In 4.6, this feature has gone, only holidays is displayed. I think that is a shame! Reproducible: Always OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.36-ARCH Compiler: gcc
do they still show up on the calendar itself when the clock is clicked on?
No, only holidays on the popup calendar too.
that's what i expected; the tooltip support is still there .. but only if the calendar data is reachable by plasma. sounds most likely to be an akonadi issue (there was extensive work on the calendar support leading up to 4.6) .. will require tracing it all the way through the stack to find out where the data is not coming through.
My akonadi calendars are visible in korganizer and in the eventlist plasmoid, which is using standard akonadi API to get to it afaik.
