On my notebook I have set the effects speed to “slow” because it looks much nicer and then it isn‘t so jerky. On some effects you can set the speed independently from the overall setting such as Window Grid and minimize.
But you cannot do this for the Plasma Extender rollout thing which becamse really slow using the slow setting. All other effects are fine to me but this is just too slow with that setting but there is no way of overriding it.
