Weird desktop

Version:           unspecified (using KDE 4.5.95) 
OS:                Linux

I use the Search and Launch containment on my notebook with plasma-desktop because I like it and this semantic stuff just rocks. But when switching back from the Search and Launch to the Folderview containment, the desktop just gets weird (see attachment, cannot describe that). Changing to default containment works.

After killing plasma-desktop and restarting it, I now cannot even access the FOlderview settings to change the containment type. Plasma then just freezes.
And it seems that the folderview is just the widget put on the desktop like it acts in panels. Clicking it opens a list of files on the desktop.

just tried the steps as described, and it works perfectly here. can you try to determine a more specific set of steps to reproduce this? thanks.

I think it is because I was fuzzing around with those immutability switches provided by kiosk [$i]. I froze my background wallpaper and I just noticed that although I removed that [$i] and restarted plasma, they were still there since I had to kill plasma first and then change the settings.
But I just tried it and again I got the same problem although the immutabilities have been removed.
It is just, I have an activity (i have lots of activities, I love it) of which one is set to have the Search and Launch containment (running plasma-desktop!) and then you just change the layout back from S'n'L to folderview and then I get this weird behavior. Restarting plasma or the computer doesn‘t seem to help.

I just saw this one (that is: weird desktop when going from SnL to FV) yesterday for the first time, and I seem to get it again at will. Attached are plasma-desktop-applets and the debug error output. I'm sorry for the lack of sanitized rc file..
