tabs size: GoogleChrome vs Konqueror

Version: 4.6.0 (using KDE 4.5.95)
OS: Linux

Google Chrome has a nice feature that allows easy closing of tabs: all tabs have the same size(length). When starting to close some tabs, they keep the same length so, when you close a tab, the close button of the next tab comes in the same location where the close button of the closed tab was. With this technique you can close very fast a lot of tabs.

Why is need a fast close technique? For example, after I searched for something on Google I open 5 results in new tabs(using Control+click). Lets say I found what I was looking for in the second result tab. Then, I don't care about the remaining 3 tabs, and I need to close them fast. So I put my mouse cursor on the close button of the third result tab and click three times. Because the tabs have the same length, closing one tab make the following to come in its same place with the same metrics and the close button is in the same position as of the closed tab.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Search for something on Google. Open the results in new tabs.

Actual Results:
Each tab has its own length.

Expected Results:
All tabs should have the same length, like in Google Chrome.
