Cannot reproduce in KMail2 with the steps given. Will be fixed in KDEPIM 4.6
(In reply to comment #1) > *** Bug 266034 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I think this bus is still slightly different: The list is there, but it is not resolved properly (Version 1.13.7 Unter KDE 4.6.2 (4.6.2) "release 3")
Axel: you get an error like the one in bug 247105 ? can you check your smtp settings for the account used to send your message ? In KMail settings, "Accounts", "Sending" and look at the "Advanced" tab. is "send custom hostname" enabled ?
(In reply to comment #4) > Axel: you get an error like the one in bug 247105 ? yes, that looks like it! created a group 'test', send a mail to test, and get the reply that <test@mydomain.com> has permanent errors (mydomain.com is the standard domain) > > can you check your smtp settings for the account used to send your message ? > In KMail settings, "Accounts", "Sending" and look at the "Advanced" tab. > > is "send custom hostname" enabled ? No, its not enabled
