Description rockachu2 2010-12-31 02:33:45 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.90)
OS: Linux

This happens every time I log out of KDE.
I have the kubuntu/beta? ppa's installed.

The backtrace is 'unimportant' and it is a 'Segmentation Fault'

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Log in to kde, log out.

Make sure desktop effects are enabled.

Actual Results:
A bug report window comes up.

Expected Results:
Smooth logout.

I had trouble with one of the Sharpen plugins, but that was probably unrelated.

Which application crashes on logout? If is is the plasma-desktop, try removing the Weather applet. If it still crashes, please attach the backtrace.
Comment 2 rockachu2 2010-12-31 20:49:55 UTC
It is the plasma-desktop crashing.

When I closed the weather applet, the plasma-desktop crashed again!
Comment 3 rockachu2 2010-12-31 20:51:48 UTC
Removing the weather applet fixed the problem.
