I have the image list enabled in Gwenview and it is quite useful. But it does not continue loading the images, only the ones visible. So, as soon as you begin dragging (where you haven‘t been yet) you encounter unloaded images and they only load when you stop dragging.
Make the thumbnails be loaded in the background all the time or at least already when visible, not only when the user stops dragging.
