Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.85) OS: Linux After upgrading to KDE 4.6 Beta 2 on Kubuntu Maverick (10.10), the QuickAccess widget on the panel does not respond to a left click. Right click provides access to settings and any changes to settings are saved. The widget works fine if started with "plasmoidviewer quickaccess" from the command line. Removed it from the panel, uninstalled and reinstalled, and added it back to the panel, but no change. I renamed the ~/.kde/share/config/plasm* files and logged out and back in to let those files get re-created, but that had no effect. Tried 3 different desktop themes, including the default Air, but that had no effect. Show Desktop also does not respond to a left click on the panel, and works if started with "plasmoidviewer showdesktop". Other widgets on the panel, task manager, system tray, digital clock, etc., are working. $ apt-cache policy plasma-widget-quickaccess plasma-widget-quickaccess: Installed: 0.8.1-0ubuntu6.1~maverick1~ppa1 Candidate: 0.8.1-0ubuntu6.1~maverick1~ppa1 Version table: *** 0.8.1-0ubuntu6.1~maverick1~ppa1 0 500 http://ppa.launchpad.net/kubuntu-ppa/beta/ubuntu/ maverick/main i386 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 0.8.1-0ubuntu6 0 500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ maverick/main i386 Packages Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Add the Quick Access widget to the panel, try to left click to open it. Actual Results: Nothing happens on left click. Expected Results: List of folders and files would appear.
