Description tbohaning 2010-12-06 20:04:28 UTC
Application: kontact (4.4.7)
KDE Platform Version: 4.5.80 (4.6 Beta1)
Qt Version: 4.7.0
Operating System: Linux 2.6.35-23-generic x86_64
Distribution: Ubuntu 10.10

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed:

There seem to be a couple of related issues. First, the displayed contact show as either do48VRSwQe.vcf or as do48VRSwQe, with the names of the files being broadly different. When I try to view the contents of the displayed records Kontact will crash every time. I'm not sure if this is due to the initial record load not completing properly or something else.

The software was added to my machine from the Ubuntu Beta PPA. Everything was working properly prior to the install of the beta 1 code.

What additional information would you like to have?

The crash can be reproduced every time.
