Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.80) OS: Linux The akonadi server is saif to be running in the control panel although it's not. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: - Open the akonadi control panel with akonadi running - Stop the server using the stop button. - Wait, check there are no akonadi process anymore, which is the wase for me. - Akonadi server is still running according to the kcm and you can still stop it. Expected Results: One should not be able to stop a non running server and information on the kcm should be accurate.
can't reproduce this, it works fine for me.
I've just tried again and I can't reproduce anymore. I've not changed anything, but will, maybe that was a temporary problem or fixed by openSUSE.
I've just reproduced. I had this bug https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=257970 and so restarted the akonadi server. I hit stop, wait a rather long time, and the server is saif to be running, like in the screenshot, but it's not.
