Application: amarok (2.3.0) KDE Platform Version: 4.4.2 (KDE 4.4.2) Qt Version: 4.6.2 Operating System: Linux 2.6.32-25-generic x86_64 Distribution: Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS -- Information about the crash: I first had an issue of Amarok not loading my local library. I solved that with the forums. Then I get the warning Phonon won't play MP3's. I try and investigate that problem, by installing several xine and phonon files from Synaptic that seemed to look important. I think this constant crash is being caused by lib conflicts, but I can't be sure. The crash can be reproduced every time. -- Backtrace: Application: Amarok (amarok), signal: Segmentation fault [Current thread is 1 (Thread 0x7f6778e68780 (LWP 2006))] Thread 7 (Thread 0x7f674e73d710 (LWP 2019)): #0 pthread_cond_timedwait@@GLIBC_2.3.2 () at ../nptl/sysdeps/unix/sysv/linux/x86_64/pthread_cond_timedwait.S:211 #1 0x00007f675e450081 in ?? You can close this ticket. I became so terribly frustrated with Amarok after 1.4.10 (the best version IMHO), I'm just tired of fighting with Amarok to get music to play. I've switched to Exaile.
... which doesn't mean it is a duplicate. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 233814 ***
