Description Heiko Braun 2010-11-01 09:33:41 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.1)
OS: Linux

... like nautilus does and like in the 'devices' plasmoid. Avoiding the neccesarity for right-clicking would improve usability in two ways:
1. it makes obvious: this device is removeable
2. it makes obvious how to remove that device

Reproducible: Didn't try

Expected Results:
better usability for 'non-technical' people

the right-click provides - next to the unmount-action - options to change the userinterface (hide devices permanently, show hidden devices, add an entry,...). It is not neccesary to confront the user with things like that if he only wants to unmount his usb-stick. And it bears the danger to change the interface accidently. ('ups - what happend? why did that happen?' - some people might not understand that they did it accidently by clicking the wrong menue-entry)
