Description Sabine Faure 2010-10-27 15:24:26 UTC
Version: unspecified (using Devel)
OS: Linux

Emails are not sent anymore whereas this worked fine last Friday.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
- Launch Kmail-mobile
- Click on 'Write new email' button
- Enter a subject, a recipient and a few words in the text editor
- Click on the 'Send' icon

Actual Results:
The email is stuck in the Local Folders Outbox.

There is no Yellow pop up dialogue saying that the message has been sent and it is never received by the recipient either.

In the terminal I got this error:
15:24:08 akonadi_maildispatcher_agent(2494) OutboxQueue::Private::addIfComplete: Item 35671 has an empty remoteId.

Expected Results:
The email should be sent properly as it was the case before this regression.

Note: Often after a while the email is displayed twice in the outbox whereas it was only sent once by the user.

It's working fine now.

Check if your "local folders" ( maildir ) resource is offline.

I can still reproduce this bug today.

Sergio and Tobias Koening are investigating (thx guys!)

I can now send and receive emails properly so I am closing this bug.

The pb was due to the fact that I had several emails with no remote id stuck in my outbox. Deleting them from Akonadi Console - Browser tab and restarting Akonadi server solved the pb.
