Version: 2.5 (using KDE 4.5.1) OS: Linux In order to address a problem with amarok (Bug 255048), I was told to activate repository http://kubuntu.org/news/amarok-232-backports-ppa . After doing so, the problem with amarok was fixed, but konsole's icon was gone Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create a shortcut to konsole (Right-click "add to panel" on any konsole menu entry) 2. Follow instructions at http://kubuntu.org/news/amarok-232-backports-ppa 3. apt-get update 4. apt-get dist-upgrade 5. log out 6. log in again 7. Observe that the konsole shortcut now has an empty sheet of paper as an icon, rather than a terminal window Actual Results: konsole shortcut now has an empty sheet of paper as an icon Expected Results: it should have a terminal window as icon oddly enough, a suitable icon may be found under gnome... /usr/share/icons/gnome/32x32/apps/konsole.png
This is a distribution issue, not Konsole. Ask Ubuntu/Kubuntu.
