Version:           1.13.5 (using KDE 4.5.2) 
OS:                Linux

When you are editing a new mail, if ever kmail crashes for any reason you completely loose the mail you were editing.

There should be a mecanism ala 'dead letter' or a command to regularly sync memory to disk while edting an email  in order to avoid this.

Reproducible: Always

This is very frequent bug. Not yet solved in kmail2.
