Description dmoyne 2010-04-22 08:10:43 UTC
Version: 1.13.2 (using 4.4.2 (KDE 4.4.2), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.32-21-generic

This happened to me twice tryning to further edit a message stored in the draft folder ; at one time I got a global freezing on the desktop we no explanation ; in on case I had to reboot in the other case I could access the button to end the kde session and relog ; in bothe cases the message was no more in draft and I had to redo the whole job !

If not mistaken long time ago when editing a new message if a system crsh happened when reopening kmail the message that was in edition during the crash poped-up almost complete at the time of the crash.

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
