Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.1) OS: Linux I love Kjots the way you can have books and pages to make notes so you can easily keep your records of anything. However, I find it a bit limited since as far as I know you can only put text, but not to add images, equations... Among others, I think this would be particularly interesting to keep records in research. What I'm thinking of is a Kjots philosophy (of course integrated in Kontact) and with all the power of Koffice! Reproducible: Didn't try
I second this wish to some degree, at least I would very much appreciate the ability to add images to pages. This is within the abilities of qtextedit, so it should be simple to implement.
Created attachment 57577 [details] kjots insert image patch A patch to make kjots able to a.Insert a selected image to the note b.Take screenshot, and insert a selected part into the note as an image The image will be stored at "kjobs-book-data-path/images", e.g. ~/.kde/share/apps/kjots/images. And in the notes, it just inserts a html tag for the images. The patch may not satisfy all, but it could be a point to start with.
Created attachment 57578 [details] kjots patched BTW, the screenshot-taking codes are token from basket-1.81.
