that screenshot is just fine, thanks :) when this happens, does the entire panel stop painting, or is it just the window listing buttons? do the window buttons react to clicks? mouse hover? are you using desktop effects? if so, does turning them off help any? have you noticed any pattern of behaviour that triggers this?

The ones that are visible still respond to mouse clicks (not sure about mouse hover and can't check that right now since it's currently not misbehaving) > are you using desktop effects? if so, does turning them off help any? yes, but I haven't tried turning them off.
