Description Ludwig Reiter 2010-08-06 11:54:57 UTC
Version: unspecified (using Devel)
OS: Linux

Version: 4.5.~20100730.1157245-1maemo1.1157229 (enterprise5 on n900)

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
Reeive mails/Look at some of them/Switch back to maillist.

Actual Results:
The unread count is sometimes different to the number of displayed unread mails.

Expected Results:
The unread count should reliable display the count of unread messages of the folder.

Most likely a side-effect of #246532.

SVN commit 1167780 by skelly:

Make use of the KResettingProxyModel, this time for a different QML bug.

Reopened, still (or again?) observeable in 4:4.5~20100902.1170752-1maemo1.1170522 .

In one of my three tests, after waiting a certain time (3 minutes?) the count was corrected and also the color of the subject was changed to black (from red).
In one of the three tests, it worked correctly. I suspect that a relation to https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=249840 exists.

Still, this would be definately too long for closing this issue.

After restarting kmail-mobile I still had a Unread count of 4, but only 3 read messages (and indeed only 3 unread mails).

Exists in 4:4.5~20100920.1177660-1maemo1.1177547 , too.

please test with the workaround in revision 1205152.
