It's same on kubuntu 10.04 -kde 4.5.0

I have tryed to change the shortcut in systemsetting and i have cancelled the .kde/share/config/klipperrc file but the problem persist.

I love klipper and this bug limit seriously the usability.

Sorry for my english. Bye

Duplicate of 244620 (which shouldn't be closed, as the option to configure it globally is still there, but in the short term, you should set it in the system tray settings.)

The same here with KDE 4.5.1 in OpenSUSE 11.3

There is a workaround: in "System Tray Settings -> Entries" add the Ctrl+Alt+V keyboard shortcut to Klipper.
