When I try to start compiz either from Default Applications in the KDE System Settings application or from the command line, compiz crashes.

The output on the command line is as follows:

This happens every time. All windows loose their decoration.

I am trying to run compiz for the first time. I have recently installed a new graphics card nVidia GeFore 9800 GT. I used nvidia-settings to configure it using TwinView.

The crash can be reproduced every time.
