Version: 2.3.1 (using Devel) OS: Linux With Maverick Alpha2 updated when I click on an Amarok's menu, it appears and disappears immediately. It is impossible to configure sources (eg podcast) because right click does not work either. Reproducible: Always
Pierre, please report this downstream, this is not an Amarok, but a Maverick problem.

Not sure I am experiencing a new bug, or if this is a new issue. I am using Amarok 2.3.2 on KDE 4.5.1 on Ubuntu 10.10 Sometimes all Amarok menus (context menus and main menu bar) become unusable. Sometimes I can see the menu pop up for an instant, but it will disappear immediately and no choices can be selected before it disappears. Once the program gets in to this state, no menus can be used at all. I have to quit (I use the systray control to quit. That continues to work.) and restart Amarok. It seems to start when the system is busy -- so it's like Amarok is a bit behind on processing clicks -- and it gets in to a state where it can no longer respond correctly. I understand you are saying this is a distribution problem, but I run a lot of KDE apps and Amarok is the only one that exhibits this behavior. I searched for a related ubuntu/kubuntu bug, but can't find one. Anyone have a link? Should I open a new issue?
I suggest you upgrade to Amarok 2.3.2 first: http://kubuntu.org/news/amarok-232-backports-ppa It turned out later it was a bug with the Current Track applet and that is already fixed for the next Amarok version (2.4, to be released early 2011), see also bug 250004. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 250004 ***
