I had this after a resume from hibernation, and last time I used kmail I did some searches, but I'm not sure it was the first time. Did not notice anything else weird before this. KMail is set up to read a single IMAP account at startup. I logged out and in again, I even rebooted, but it keeps crashing as soon as I start it. I tried to start it from the shell and this is what I get:
