Description Malte S. Stretz 2010-05-26 09:42:42 UTC
Version: 1.00 (using KDE 4.4.3)
OS: Linux

I'm not sure who's really fault here, Kopete, the jabber plugin or the Jabber server. At least Kopete should display an error message if the user couldn't be blocked (if possible).

This is whats going on: I use my ICQ account via a Jabber transport (Spectrum, at www.draugr.de). Every now and then some Russian spammer adds me to his ICQ and I am notified by Kopete. The notification area has an option to block the user. Clicking that link doesn't do anything (the spam is still displayed).

Reproducible: Always

OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.32-22-generic
Compiler: cc

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
