Version: (using KDE 4.3.4) Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages This bug has been copied over from http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=573913 ---- Steps to reproduce: In kmail, pick a mailbox with recent messages. Choose aggregation mode dependent on Activity (I use "current activity, threaded"). Select a recent message (one from the current week, as each day in it is a separate activity). Wait for the date to change at midnight. What I expect to see: Activities change, changing the grouping of messages, but if a message was selected, it stays selected What I see instead: At least when the selected message is in an activity which changed (say, switched from "today" to "yesterday" or from "yesterday" to "last week", as it happened today), a different message is selected. I'm not sure what defines the new selected message. This may be related to bug #527569, a.k.a. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=178035
Is see this as a duplicate of bug #21842. It is basically the same - sorting is changend and after that a new message is selected. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 219842 ***
