Hi Guys,
The new vignetting tool introduced in digiKam 1.10 is a huge improvement but it's still a bit rough at the edges and needs some work.
The biggest issue I'm having is that the vignette option doesn't only add dark borders to the image but it also lightens the central part of the image.
For more details see:
http://grain-of-dirt.blogspot.com/2010/03/digikam-and-vignetting-tool.html

So the proposal from my side is:
- change the default behaviour of the Vignetting Tool to leave the brightness of the centre of the picture untouched,
- add an option (tick-box?) to lighten the central part of the image so the result is the same as of now.

Thanks and keep up the great job!
