Version: 4.4.00 (using KDE 4.4.0) Compiler: gcc-4.4.3-4.fc12.x86_64 gcc-c++-4.4.3-4.fc12.x86_64 OS: Linux Installed from: Fedora RPMs Hello, I have opened a note at https://bugzilla.redhat.com because we can't print webpages from konqueror. The note is following: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=567379 The developer has asked me to apply myself to you. I can repeat the contents of the note here: 1. When you print a simple page too many print jobs will be created. 2. The right side of a printed page is cut off. Words fail. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Konqueror Version 4.3.5 (KDE 4.3.5) How reproducible: Prints two pages from Konqueror on KDE 4.3.5. Dosn't matter if fc12 i686 or x86_64. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to www.google.com 2. print. 3. Go to www.heise.de 4. print. Don't worry! This page creates a printeable version in the background without advertising. Actual results: 1. You will get seven jobs. 2. The right side of a printed page is cut off. Words fail. Expected results: 1. I need only one job, one Site. 2. I would like to see the whole content of the page on the paper. Additional info: The printer model is not important. I have HP Laserjet 5L, different Epson models... In KDE 3.5.X both functions are included. Perhaps it is 4.4 include? Now I've upgraded to 4.4 and the result is the same. This funktionalities and more are needed at the office. Please keep me informed on the progress of development. Also the developer of fedora team need the infos. Thanks in advance.
printing support has improved recently, see: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=214352
