When using a screen edge to view the plasma dashboard, the active window is not placed below. Here's a screenshot to explain what I mean: http://imgur.com/EdZCA

The problem does not occur when using the "Show the Plasma Dashboard" plasmoid in the panel, nor when using a keyboard shortcut.

I confirm that on Archlinux fully updated (KDE 4.4.1). Dashboard is activated but not brought to the front. I believe is the same bug as Bug 229705

I can confirm this for KDE 4.4.1-r1 on Gentoo linux, kernel 2.634-rc1.

I can confirm this as well. openSUSE factory repo with KDE 4.4.2.

After backporting patch from bug 224281 to 4.4 branch, I can't reproduce this bug in 4.4 branch, so maybe this patch ^^ is not necessary?

Could someone else verify?
For now I wouldn't backport it.
