Version: (using KDE 4.4.0) Installed from: openSUSE RPMs Well the short description should say it all: I have a folder view on one of my activities and adapts its size to show all contained folders in one line without scroll bar. After that I lock the activity or better the applets. After restarting the kde session, the folder view has its old standard size again. It doesn't seem that this is the only applet that forgets its size, for instance I see the same in Quick Access applet. But other applets do remember its size correctly (System Load applet, Notes applet ... etc.) There is already a BugReport on the same matter for Lancelot, its BR202459
This could be related to bug 226720, do you identify the dashboard situation mentioned? Regards
Well I tried to reproduce my own old bug now or better said had a look at it, and I have to say it doesn't happen here anymore (totally forgot about it, sorry...). I don't know exactly what the reason could be, there were some updates in the packages I use of KDE4:Factory from openSuse, but I don't know if they are following the 4.4 branch closely or not -- so this could have been an error in the packages in the first place or a bug that disappeared through smthg that happened in the 4.4 branch. I'm sorry I can't help more with that one here. Another widget though doesn't remember its size correctly -- this is the QuickAcces Browser, which will always get the same standard size (may depend on used icon size...) -- but I guess it's better to discuss it in a specific "QuickAccess Browser" bug report. I will close this Bug, and everything with regard to bug 226720, I will discuss that there.
