The same behaviour. No kwin effects, using the old kde configuration. I'm using archlinux/i686 and gentoo/amd64 and this is reproducable (on both machines) few times per hour within normal using. I think, It is harder to reproduce this crash after deleting old kwinrc configuration file on my archlinux machine last night. Actually, I believe, I saw only one crash today, and this crash was different (I had to logout, because I was missing my hiding panels after the crash)
