Description Nicolas Brisset 2010-02-02 16:16:08 UTC
Version: 2.0.0_devel (using unspecified)
Compiler: mingw delivered with QtCreator 1.1.0
OS: Windows 32-Bit

It seems that the change data file tool no longer works. It used to work in kst 2.x not so long ago (I haven't taken time to track until when...)

I will attach 2 small files, to reproduce:
- plot Column1 vs INDEX from var1.dat in a curve
- Tools -> Change Data File -> All from var1.dat
- New data file: var2.dat, Change selected vectors and matrices
- OK => nothing changes (neither in the plot nor the Data -> view vectors menu)

Expected result: the new curve appears and vector values are updated.

It seems like there is an update missing somewhere...

I wonder whether this is not related with bug #225347. Right now I've booted Windows so I can't check, but I wouldn't be surprised if it worked under Linux. In fact I think I saw it working recently...
Comment 4 Peter Kümmel 2010-03-16 19:11:51 UTC
Yes, the whole update system is broken because no dependencies are tracked.
Comment 5 Netterfield 2010-04-29 05:15:48 UTC
Is this fixed now that windows updates are fixed?
Comment 6 Nicolas Brisset 2010-04-29 10:56:15 UTC
Yes, it seems that this works, probably since bug #225347 was fixed.
Thanks :-)
Comment 7 Peter Kümmel 2010-08-14 12:14:46 UTC
Change version from 2.0.0_devel to 2.0.0 to simplify version numbering.
Comment 8 Peter Kümmel 2010-11-12 10:42:27 UTC
These bugs are solved with 2.0.0
