Version: 0.99.90 (using 4.3.90 (KDE 4.3.90 (KDE 4.4 RC1)) "release 209", KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop / openSUSE_11.2) Compiler: gcc OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.31.8-0.1-desktop This is just about https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=201252 - that marked as a qt bug and fixed. But it's not so. Using qt 4.6.0 and kde 4.4 rc1 - bug still presents.
Please provide a screenshot showing the wrong behavior.

Thanks for the screenshot. :) I wonder why some of the contacts in your list are missing their protocol icons. I also wonder if we shouldn't just remove contacts from the list that have no protocol associated with them. You can work around the bug by removing those contacts that have no protocol icon associated with them. If they are in fact genuine contacts, they should be reloaded from the server the next time you login.

I can confirm this - now with Qt 4.6.1 and Kopete from KDE 4.3.4. The "solution" from the original bug works for me, too. The contacts are greyed out, don't have any protocol icon and disappear after toggeling "show all". Many of my "meta-contacts" have several accounts associated with them - perhaps this is somehow related.
Same thing observed with - Qt 4.6.2-4 - Kopete 1.0.0 - KDE SC 4.4.2 Could this bug be the same than https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=206873 https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=213731
