Version: 0.70.90 (using 4.3.1 (KDE 4.3.1), Gentoo) Compiler: x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-gcc OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.30.4 Hi, deactivating "Show offline users" works fine in general, except when suspending the computer. Upon waking up KDE (and Kopete with it), it happens to actually *show* offline users -- exactly the ones who were online before the suspend, but aren't anymore. Cheers, Nico
The problem does exist. (Here with Kopete Version 0.80.2 using KDE 4.3.4). Please vote for the bug to get it confirmed.
Same here, Kopete 1.0.0 with KDE 4.4.3
Could this bug be the same than https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=213731 https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=222646

Could you please test my patch: http://svn.reviewboard.kde.org/r/6511/ It should set each account to offline on suspend an reconnect on resume, therefore the contact list should be updated. (Did a quick test and it works so far.)
Thank you for the bug report. As this report hasn't seen any changes in 5 years or more, we ask if you can please confirm that the issue still persists. If this bug is no longer persisting or relevant please change the status to resolved.
I don't use kopete anymore and cannot confirm whether it's solved or not. Moreover, since I was not the bug reporter, I don't feel like I can close it. Yet, as far as I am concerned, it's OK to close it. Thanks for your wonderful work!
Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained. Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
